Rose plantation

Question
Hi, I want to grow some roses. what will be the best way and procedure for that. I mean the time, soil, rose breed and fertilizers etc. I am from PUNJAB PAKISTAN.

Answer
Most of your climate would be okay for growing roses. The only time I would be concerned is in the summer so to help roses grow when the heat is high, always plant them in an area where thy get mainly morning and late afternoon sun. Mid day sun will dry the petals out and fry the roots. It will also bleach the flower colours out. Try and choose roses that do well in California. The very old European roses will not do well in your climate.
