Unknown mini pink rose

Question

Mini pink rose
I bought a mini rose around 24 years ago out of a catalogue
and it stayed kind of smallish (around 2-3 fett high most of it's life. We moved to the country and I took it with me. It's had the best of soil, sun and pampering. New shoots have come up from the bottom for the last 2 years. Now it seems like this bush has a climbing habit, grows long shoots that hang over the porch. I am not complaining, I love it but it's changed somewhat or either it finally got the nutrients it needed. Can you indentify this mini rose? It grows to around 4 feet high if I let it. This picture shows it after I cut it back last Winter and it's now in full bloom.
Thanks

Answer

Photo Jeanne Lajoie
There is a climbing mini rose that if grown in poor soil stays as a bush but in good soil grows like the climber it is. Have a look at Jeanne Lajoie and see if it matches your mini climber. The photo is pretty accurate one of this mini rose. Soil sometimes does change the shade of pink a little.
