Moving a hybrid tea rose bush

Question
I just moved into a new home in New Jersey last summer. I recently noticed that I have 2 hybrid tea rose bushes (I read the tag that was tied to one of the branches), I want to move them to another section of the yard due to my neighbor has weeds that appear to be choking them. What is the best way to move them as soon as possible. They are really pretty and would like to try and keep them that way. By the way I have no exprience in gardening. This is my first home and my first time trying to garden anything.

Answer
Hi Fletta,

First congratulations on the first home and trying gardening.

Can you keep the weeds away until winter?   It has gotten so hot that I am afraid moving them at this point would stress thme but they will recover.

Now if you really need to move them, make sure you dig as much dirt with each plant and carefully place it in the new hole at the same depth it was growing.  Water well during the hot summer.

The link below shows everything you need to do in step by step.

Good luck on these new endeavors and please feel free to ask anymore questions.

Thanks
