Question
I have planted canna lillies at my beach house in Duck, NC.  They were planted last November.  My questions is, how soon can I expect to see the plants beginning to come up above the soil?

Canna tubers are planted similar to iris tubers so they are very shallow and the new growth should be seen now.If not,perhaps you planted them a bit deeper and it may take a little while longer for them to reach the surface. If you don't see any green growth in the next 2 to 3 weeks you may want to dig them up to see if they are rotted or maybe just replant them a bit more shallow.
