Question
Thank you for your insightful response, I plan on purchasing some predatory mites.  I have a concern however.  With overnight shipping can they survive the heat until I arrive home?

I agree that heat can be a threat these days.  Best answer -- and I hate to do this -- is to ask the Retailer their opinion directly and see if there is some guarantee.  That said, it is hard to tell if these things are still alive.  They should be familiar with the needs of these delicate creatures.  And by the way, it's not just heat you have to worry about; a drop in temperature, sometimes even UV light, can destroy some beneficials.

See what they say.  Good luck -- I applaud your decision to go this route.  Very cutting edge, but not for everyone.
