spider mites

Question
QUESTION: mine are starting to turn red..normal for now or could there be a problem?  we did have mites, got them under control now, the color change worries me, are we overlooking something.  thank you.

ANSWER: Hi Betsy,
Thanx for your question.  Where do you live and how has the weather been lately?  Important questions before I can answer fully.  Sometimes there is always some red color going on somewhere on the bush.  Let me know.
thx,
Tom

QUESTION: just looked closely again, leaves are falling off burning bushes and I see
evidence of mites on lower branches.  We thought we were doing the right thing, maybe not right product or not
proper application?  Try to get it underneath.  Any suggestions??  losing my leaves 3rd year in a row!
Someone said replace dirt???  Thanks!!!!

Answer
Hi Betsy,
Thanx for the question.  Use the horticultural soap spray and just keep treating them off and on all season long.  Eventually, you will get rid of the infestation once and for all.  Also, check around the neighborhood.  Does anyone else have burning bush and if they do, do they have an infestation of spider mites?  If they do and it is left untreated, your shrubs will be affected over and over again.  I hope this helps.
Tom
