Question
Can I winterize lantana in 4" pots that i have rooted all so  roses an crept myrtle I live in Wilmington North Carolina I can put them in the garage, I would like to keep them out side. I need to know how to take care of them.  Would it be better if I put them in one gallion pots if placed out side.  How do I winterize one gallion pots, they are small plants.

Dear Madaline,
 Lantana and the other plants are hardy in growing zones 9-11.  If you are on the fringe of zone 9 cut the lantana back in the ground and put about 6" of mulch on them before the weather is too cold.
 The seeds of the Lantana are poisonous so I have never brought them inside-too many pets.
