impatients(no flowers)

Question
I have a couple planters with just impatients.
They have grown and are full and lush, except they dont have any flowers on them.. I water them every day to every other and the dirt is always moist.  Am I over watering?  What causes them to not flower?
Thanks

Answer
Sounds like your watering schedule is just fine, Connie.

Usually when a flower does not bloom, it is because it is not getting enough sun.  Full and lush, yes, but no flowers.

Is there any chance you can move these impatiens, maybe just a few of them, to a SLIGHTLY sunnier space?  Not TOO sunny. Just much brighter for them, under an evergreen or in the semishade of a tall tree.  You don't want to burn the leaves.  But you don't want THIS, either.
