What potting mix do you recommend when it comes time to repot my small
phalinopsis?

Nancy, the two most commonly available commercial potting mixes (found at Home Depot and Lowes) is one from the Schultz company and the other is "Better Gro".  Be sure that the particular potting mix has some fir bark as one of its ingredients.  Some of these mixes are very dry so I recommend that you give a portion a good soaking before use.
