rooting a ti plant

Question
I received two ti-plant shoots as a gift with the only instruction being to keep them half submeged in water until they started to grow. Both have what appears to be leaf stalks started out but no roots. how and when do  I transfer them to soil.

Answer
Hi Bryan,

I suggest that you move the shoots to small pots with moist potting mix now. Use a peat-based, soilless potting mix for best results. Put the entire stem cutting (shoot) just below the surface of the potting mix. Keep it moist, warm, and in a sunny location.

Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
