Putting Cymbidium outside.

Question
I want to place my plant outside but the tab states not to get wet.

Answer
Minnie, as long as your plant has recently been potted in a properly draining orchid potting mix, there should be no problem.  Good air movement and good drainage are crucial to cymbidiums (as with any orchid).  I would also use a slow release plant food sprinkled on top of the poting mix as growing cymbidiums are heavy feeders.  Try to be sure the foliage is dry by nightfall, which can be helped by lots of air movement and/or confining the plant's exposure to rain to the AM hours.
