Stephanotis leaf problems

Question
My Stephanotis is in a south facing conservatory but protected from direct sun.It is 2 years old in an 8 in. pot. Repotted about 3months ago. It is flowering well and growing strongly on a bouganvillia. The leaves have started to develop a yellow 'marbling' variegated effect. They eventually go all yellow including the stems and drop off.Can you please help.  Many thanks Derek Tabb

Answer
Hi Derek,

I suspect that the soil pH is too high (alkaline) and the cause may be using hard water. If your local tap water is on the hard or alkaline side, then switch to filtered, distilled, or rainwater.

Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
