Question
we are located just north of Corpus Christi Tx and I've noticed many outdoor specimens so I would like to try planting a Christmas poinsietta outside but have no idea when would be the best time. Also, some get very leggy when placed outside; any advice on how to care for it so that it will be full and bushy as possible?

Hi Ro,

My expertise is limited to plants grown indoors. I can tell you how to care for a Poinsettia indoors where the environemt is more controlled, but I cannot help you with it as an outdoor plant.

I suggest you try an outdoor gardening expert.
