I dont know the name of the plant, I need to find out how to care for it. I can explain what it looks like.

Question
I thought this plant was called a String of Pearls, but I cannot find it on the computer. It looks like a bunch of green peas on a vine.It has little white flowers along the vine as well.
1. Name?
2. HOw do I start another plant. Would I plant one of those peas or put the vine in water and see if it roots?
3. What does it need as far as care? Sun and watering?
It is located in a sun room. Lots of windows. The room has a gas fireplace in it that heats the room.(thermastat) This is a hanging plant. I think I must of over watered it because a lot of the fines are drying and falling off. No yellow color. I live in Duluth MN. We have long winters and just a little time for spring and then go right into summer.

Answer
Nancy,

1. String of pearls   Latin name: Senecio radicans

2. Lay a string on top of the soil in a separate pot and gently press it into the soil. It will root in about a month or less.

3. Water once a week, do not let it sit in a tray of water and it likes light from east or west window. But in your climate your sun room should be fine. It doesn't like to get below 55 degrees. It is a succulent vine.

Good luck.
