Howdy, I have a very large peace plant.  It is in a north window in a large pot.  It is about 5 years old.  It is doing very well but the flowers stay green and don't turn white very often.  Other than that it gets alot of flowers and is quite healthy.

Answer -
Tina,

The flowers start out white and turn green as they fade. When they have turned green for awhile you can cut them off so they are not putting all their energy into trying to make seeds. It sounds like you are doing everything right. You didn't mention fertilizer, I suggest that you fertilize monthly with a bloom building water soluable fertilizer such as Miracle Grow for blooming plants. Good luck.

Answer
Tina,

If the flowers do not start out white then turn green you have either a very unusual variety of peace lilly or you have a chinese evergreen. You are welcome to email me a picture to [email protected] or you can go to google and type in chinese evergreen and click on search then click on images at the top and look at the pictures of chinese evergreens and determine if that is what you really have. If your plant is a peace lilly it is truly unsual. All that I have know the flowers start out white and turn green as they fade. I do not know of any "cure" for the problem. Let me know what you have if you don't email me pictures. Good luck.
