Frozen houseplant. . .

Question
In the process of moving to a new house, I left one of my plants behind. . in the freezing, empty house for about a week. I'm not sure what kind of plant it was. . about medium sized, virtually un-killable, and grew a couple white flowers. Anyway, now the leaves were discolored and drooping, but not dry so I cut all the leaves off. . almost all the way down to the soil - Is there anything else I can do? Should I re pot it?

Answer
Angie,

Set it in a sunny window sill and say a prayer for it. It probably will not regrow. Most tropicals will not come back after overnight in freezing temps let alone a week. Do not repot it. Do not keep it wet, that will rot the roots, keep it barely moist to dry. If it doesn't sprout any new growth within a month it is dead, go buy yourself a new plant. Good luck.
