RUBBER plant leaf turning color

Question
hi! one of the leaves on my small rubber plant has turned a light green color, while the rest are all still the pretty dark green.any reason y this may have happened? i don't have it in direct light, but i do keep it outside but it is in the shade.wat could be the reason for it turnnig yellow?

Answer
Kandee,

Yellow leaves on a rubber tree usually occur because of over watering. If you don't let the plant dry out well between waterings the entire plant will soon turn yellow. It should NEVER be allowed to sit with any water in it's drain tray. The yellow leaf will probably fall off but if you let it dry out more it will stop getting more. Good luck.
