pleomela, Song of India plant

Question
I have a pleomela that is 5 ft tall, 6lst many years old and
have rooted numerous plants from it's cuttings. Despite it's
prolific healthy growth, it - and all of the offspring get
brown tips on the leaves. What causes this? It has been
repotted, lived in several states (Fl, ILL, MA, WI), usually
resides in an east facing well lit room, Exposed to some
sun. I water when the soil gets dry.

Answer
Amy,

You are not letting it get dry enough between waterings. It likes to get very dry before you water it again.  If it is kept constantly moist the roots suffer causing the brown tips on the leaves. It also doesn't like water with flouride or chlorine in ii so if you have city water with those chemicals you need to used distilled water or allow the city water to sit in an open bucket for 48 hours before using it to water the plant. If you have more questions write again. Good luck.
