Question
I received a potted indoor bamboo plant.  How can I make my
new "pal" grow better?  Also should it be replanted and if so,
how?

No. You should not repot it for at least a year unless the roots are circling the pot. Make sure it gets plenty of light and make sure they dry out well between waterings. Never leave it sitting in a drain tray full of water or the roots will rot. Good luck.
