My daugters air plant

Question
I have a eleven year old daughter,

and yesterday when we were at our local garden store, she discovered the interesting Tillandsia Air Plant.

She said it would probably be perfect for taking places, because it needed no soil;

But some plants, I know, get stressed with travel.

Is the Air Plant one of them?

And if you think my daughter can bring the plant around,
do you have any suggestions on how to keep it safe?

Answer
Hi Jenny
  All plants, including Tillandsia air plants need a consistent environment. Ideally they need to be put in one spot and left there.
There really is no plant that I can think of that would be like a pet plant that can be taken along places.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions or need additional information please don't hesitate to ask.
     Thanks
