Mandevillia Flowers Dropping

Question
I have a Mandevilla plant that produced a large amount of flowers all spring/summer and all of a sudden the flowers are dropping soon after they have bloomed...is this normal for this plant this time of the year.  I live in the Rocky Mtns and I hoping I'll be able to winter it indoors....

Answer
Paula,

Flower dropping can be caused by the plant being too wet or too dry. If the soil is soggy most of the time you need to drain it better and leave the drain tray out from under it. If it is constantly dry you can move it to a larger pot and water it more often.

Here are 2 websites with info on overwintering mandevilla vines.
