Hibiscus Flowers

Question
I have a hibiscus plant in a 5-gallon container.  I cut it back over 3 yrs ago and have not had a flower since then.  I have fresh green growth and plant looks healthy.  It gets partial sun and has been indoors for last 3 yrs.  Anything I can do to promote flowers (i.e., high phosphorous fertilzer spike, etc.)?

Answer
Joe,
I amquite sure it is a tropical Hibiscus. But I can only assume that it needs warm outdoor temps to  bring it out of it's dormancy. They need lots of sunlight and warm weather. To learn more about this plant cut and paste this link in your browser:  http://www.trophibiscus.com/index.html

Good Luck to you! The Tropical Hibiscus is one of my very FAVORITES!
