Hi, I killed my brazilian sundew (drocera gamiflora?)I trimmed off the brown ends of the leaves, and it shriveled up and dies. I have little black flies all over what plant can I buy to eat these? I have venus fly traps but they appear to be dormant. Please help.

Hi Lynda,

Some simpler to grow sundews such as Drosera adelae, D. capensis, and the fork-leaf sundews would be good candidates.  The Mexican butterwort, Pinguicula moranensis would also be a good gnat catcher.
