, and what carnivorous plants are in Panama. Im wondering if i took some plants to PTY if they would die due to no winnter climactic changes. Thank you.

Hi Woody,

Based on experience of growers in Hawaii, Sarracenia may be successful.  Most other North American cp such as Venus flytraps and sundews will not succeed without a winter dormancy.

Panama has some native Pinguicula (Butterworts).  It may have some sundews and Bladderworts also.  You'll need to do some research on native Panama flora to find more specifics.
