Hi,
Just unpacked my new N. alata x alata x vetricosa. I have it hanging on my front porch NW corner. It will receive bright light all day and 3- 4 hours of direct sunlight. I live just so. of Chicago will this be o.k.?

Hi Tom,

Yes, that type of lighting should do the job just fine.  With the warmth and humidity your area is now getting, your plant will grow very fast!  Just make sure to water your plant frequently.  The soil will dry up quickly in warm weather.
