Frozen Heliamphora

Question
I ordered a Heliamphora a while ago from cobraplant.com, and shipping was delayed due to the cold. The problem is, the mail man was too lazy to bring it up our driveway to our house, so he left in in the car at the end of the driveway. It could have been there since Friday or Saturday and I wouldn't have seen it. I found the package in the car, and when I opened it, the Heliamphora's pot was very cold, and frozen almost solid. Is there anything I can do to keep it from dying? And if it does start to die, how will I know? I read that they die very slowly.

Answer
Hi James,

In this case the only thing you can do is just wait and see what happens.  Heliamphora die from the bottom of the leaves often, but if it froze, the leaves should show signs of damage quickly.  If it didn't freeze, it may make it.  Heliamphora is quite tolerant of cool conditions.
