purchasing from you

Question
I am interested from buying plants from you guys..i am in california..zone 9...and most of the plants i want say like 7-8, or 8 or something along those lines..is that ok? will a zone 7 or 8 live in a zone 9?

Answer
Hi Matthew,

Thank you for your interest in our plants!  Yes, any of the North American carnivorous plants will grow well in zone 9.  The zones only refer to cold hardiness.  So a zone 7 plant will easily tolerate the winters in zone 9.  In your zone, you really don't need to provide any winter protection.  Your growing season is also a bit longer.

Good growing!
