Capensis - Cape Sundew, Red Leaf

Question
Hey guys, Jason from AZ here. I am wondering how warm it gets in your greenhouse where you keep the Sundews. I'm interested in trying a Cape Sundew, Red Leaf. I have a greenhouse now and the temp during the day is 100-105 with 40% humidity. Will this be ok for this particular Sundew? Thanks.

Jason

Answer
Hi Jason,

Normally during the summer the sundew house is in the 80's and 90's with occasional spikes into the 100's.  Cape Sundews will slow down when it above 100; they definitely like it cooler.  I'd suggest you wait till fall to order one when your temperatures cool some.

Good Growing!
