Will the roots of D. Multi Extreama ,Germinate in just distilled water?  Will it germinate[D. Multi] if I put the roots under some CFl light?  Any tips to quicken the germination process then just using soil. Thank you for your time.

Hi Weylin,

They will, but no matter what type of media you use they need to be under bright light.  Your CFL's will do the job.  You'll get faster bud formation if you keep the cuttings warm; around 80 degrees F.  I've gotten better results when they are on soil.  Be sure to spray with a fungicide if you lay them on soil.
