Do I need to do anything different regarding over-wintering Darlingtonia in zone 6 as opposed to Sarracenia? Do they require any special care or treatment??

Hi Derick,

No.  Darlingtonia are quite hardy.  They are usually lower maintenance in the winter than they are in the summer.  Many clones of Darlingtonia are from high elevations, so they experience freezing and snow regularly.  Just like Sarracenia, cut off any dead material.
