Hi jeff i did some reseach that these larva are midge babys,since that mystery is solved i woulld like to know how long will it take fo sarracenia purpurea to form new leaves, also one has a flower bud how long wil that take sorry for all these questions

Hi Dylan,

Under optimal conditions, it usually takes them about a month to go from new shoot to open pitcher.  It's roughly the same for a flower.  It can be faster under warmer conditions (80's or higher).
