Question
Hi, my n.ventratas man vine for some reason is dying but has many basal shoots and i was wondering if i cut it, will the basals survive without it.

Hi Dylan,

Not only will they survive, they will probably burst into growth since they won't be putting energy into a failing vine.  This seems to be very common with Nepenthes ventricosa and it's hybrids.
