Aloe Vera changing color

Question
I live in Indiana and was given a start off an aloe vera frm a friend who also lives in IN.  Her's do really well.  After I repotted this spring, in organic soil I might add, the leaves have not stayed green.  They change to a brown and sometimes pink.  I researched the webb and have seen both colors are due to too much water, not enough water, too much sunlight or not enough.  Not the same answer to the question.  Please help!  My husband says i have the black thumb of death, which I normally do, but outdoor plants seem to do better for me, I suppose because I have "help" from above.

Answer
Kathy,

I am sorry for the delay in answering you, have had some computer issues that are now resolved. The most likely answer since I am guessing your plant is outside is one of 2 things. Either exposure to direct sunlight or exposure to cold (like close to 40 degrees). Either one of those will bring about what you described. If either of those problems exist, move it to a protected area that gets morning sun and that should help. Good luck.

Sincerely,

Greg
