Cacti identification

Question

unkown aloe
Hi Joan, I have a cactus that I have been trying to identify for years.
It is an aloe but I'd like to know what kind. The skin is much stiffer and thicker than the Aloe Vera and it is solid green. When I first received it the thorns on it were a reddish color but not any more. I hope you can help! Thanks!

Answer
Hello Kassia,
It think your aloe is an immature "Aloe ferox" because of the dots in the middle of the leafs I saw in the photo. They also have reddish spikes along the side of the leaf. Research and see if it is. Let me know if it isn't. Another possibility is the "Aloe ciliaris".
