Question
Three out of four of the bushes in front of my house are fine.  One, however, has its leaves consumed by what looks like white mold or a blight of some kind.  I am a new homeowner and a total novice with regard to things green...  What is this stuff and how do I get rid of it?  It hurts to look at the poor thing!

Without knowing what plant you have or the area you are located in I am going to guess you are referring to Powery Mildew. IF SO here is a web site that will give you information and controls. http://plantclinic.cornell.edu/FactSheets/powdery/powdery.htm
