Question
Would like to know about why my plant is growing up,but the lower leaves turn yellow,and fall off. I now have some holes in the green leaves. It has to main stems and one short one on the bottom. At this time it has 7 blossom ready to drop down and open. I cant understand why I am not getting any side branches to come out. If you could help me, I sure would be grateful. Thanks Joan

Hi Joan..when my angel trumpets leaves turn yellow on the bottom it is usually aphids sucking the life out of the leaf.  Use Neem or an insecticidal spray, spraying under the leaf where bugs live, should correct the problem. Look where the buds are on the stem and prune above them the ones going in the direction you want the branch to go.
