some of the boxwood leaves get yellow all around the edges.then the edges turn white and thin as paper. do you have any suggestions for us? thank you for your time

This sounds like an insect problem.  I would preventatively treat with Bayer Advanced Tree and Shrub Insecticide.  The product is mixed with water and poured around the base of the plant.  It is systemic and taken up through the roots and will kill most insects within a week or so.  Good Luck.
