desert roses

Question
I have desert rose(quiet large ones and about10 years old)and they have white bloches on the branches.what is it and is it harmful

Answer
Hi Rodney,

Sorry to take so long to reply, busy season at the nursery, so here is what I think.  I am seeing white blotches
on lots of plants and trees and I feel it is from the spraying in the sky effecting our plants.  I would use a product called Atomic Grow that would get it healthy and fight the possible fungus forming.  I use it on my desert roses and they are very happy as it keeps the bugs off them.  Atomic grow is organic and raises the brix in the plant which is sugar, the more sugar the bad bugs and fungus go away.  www.atomicgrow.net there are pictures of fungus on a citrus that is healing and lots of good information. Beneficial bugs like the sugar in the leaves and other bugs go away nothing is killed.
