Hello Kathy, thank you for your help on my previous questions.  I have a mission and turkey fig tree.  Both about one year old and about 4 feet tall.  I live in Key West. The leaves look like the they are rusting.  Is this a disease or are they just drying out?

Hi again Fred, It is getting rust from the humidity, there is nothing you can do to stop the rust.  Ususally they loose their leaves in the fall over the winter and new leaves come out and it looks good until the rain starts and the rust.  Happy gardening...kathy
