Question
Hello,
I believe I have aphids in my potted Banana tree soil, I have not seen them on my plant yet.  I have read I can rid my plant of these with a solution of "Soapy Water", could you tell me what the ratio of soap to water should be and could I use a mild dish detergent?

Hi Troy,  you can try a squirt of joy or dawn or whatever you use into a small spray bottle of water.  It that does not work you have have to go to something stronger.  If you do go with Pure Neem OIl spray by Dyna Gro, it is organic and does not wash off for lasting protection.  kathy
