Insects in vegetable garden

Question
There are very tiny insects that are eating under the leaves of my vegetables plants and basil in the garden - when you touch the leaves these little things jump off - what can I do to get rid of them?

Answer
Lou  it sounds like white fly.  Typically aphids or scale wont jump off the plants.  You can get Ortho from your local hardware store but I would not recommend eating anything that has had pesticide treatments.  If you want to go Organic you can check out atomicgrow.com.  This product was only available to farmers but they have started selling smaller quantities to gardeners.

I have used Atomic Grow and is does a really good job of cleaning the plants and stimulating them at the same time.  The insects seem to hate it and avoid plants that are sprayed with it.  You will also benefit from larger yields.  And its all natural made from food and such.

I buy mine from crowleynursery.net.  Kathy sells small quantities and ships it too.

Good Luck Lou
