pears have a orange looking fungus on the blossom end and top of the tree has withered looking leaves. What can we do to cure this problem.

Can you send a photo of an affected fruit?  This may be a fungus disease called rust.  Orange fruiting bodies are common with some rust diseases.  As for the leaves, do the twig tips and the associated leaves eventually turn burn to black?
