greenpeppers

Answer
Liezl:

Wilting of the plant can be caused by root/stem problems, especially if the soil has been overly wet for extended periods.  Have a look at the lower stem for any signs of decay/discoloration.  If you can sacrifice a wilted plant , have a look at the roots, carefully rinse the soil from the roots and have a look. They should be cream/white colored.  Look for any "bumps" that may be on the roots- this may be nematodes.  Flower drop may be related to improper pollination or too much Nitrogen fertilizer or even the wilt.  Did the wilt come first?

These are some things to look for.

Steve
