Ficus Lyrata

Ficus Lyrata - red spo Hello, I have a ficus lyrata which has recently displayed red spotting and red veins. I have also noticed that the leaf edges and occasionally inner leaf surface show white patches that eventually turn brown and crispy and then die off. Can you please help identify the problem and offer a solution? Thank you

The leaf symptoms shown in your photo do not resemble an infectious disease but rather a potential root related stress such as water or fertilizer imbalances. Make sure that the soil is moist, but well drained and that it is provided with a good balanced fertilizer. If it is in a pot, be sure that the roots have not become too tight in the pot.
