Question
I have a peach tree that has white mold on the bark. It started out just a small spot and now it is spreading up the trunk. I am wondering what this is and how I should treat it.

If the tree is doing fine otherwise, I suspect this may be a superficial issue-cosmetic.  If you are concerned about the overall welfare long term, you can take and send a photo of the affected trunk area and I'll have a look.  Be sure to review your image on your computer first- before sending, to be sure it is in focus.
