white moss/fluff

Question

white nastiness
I've notice a tree in our yard has this white, fluff type moss looking stuff on the bottom of leaves. Almost like cotton. There is some yellow looking stuff also. I've taken pics and I can't seem to find anything on the web describing what this infestation could be. We live in Guam so it's summer all year long.

Answer
Karli:
I would be suspicious of this being a waxy exudate of an insect - possibly a wooly aphid or mealybug.  Use "Google Images" to look at these critters on plants.  If so, there are many insecticides available in your local garden centers/nursery to select from if needed.
