Aren't ground hogs nocturnal? I have one that I see in the daytime. He comes into my driveway to eat the acorns from my tree. He is so cute.

Hi Kathi,

Groundhogs are mostly day active. They spend a lot of time in their burrows and come out to eat. They have a habit of getting into gardens and stealing the prime veggies, and wrecking things with their digging. They would be cute if they just ate acorns and weeds.
