dollarweed and peanut


Question
I put in perennial peanut,now dollar weed seems to be trying to take over .Trying to weed it out isn't working .Is there something that will kill the dollar weed and not the peanut?

Dear Dorothy:

Dollarweed, also called Pennywort, is a small broadleaf plant. The best way to get rid of it is to hand pull it from the root.The problem is that it grows in large patches and it replaces itself quickly so that few find pulling it up a reasonable solution

To the extent of my knowledge on weed control of Dollarweed, I am not aware of a product that will kill the weed and NOT also kill the perennial peanut.  However, herbicides have been developed that show great promise.  Listed below is a link to an interesting website describing them:
