I live in the Dallas Texas area. I read your recommendation on treating lawns with sugar.  How often do you have to put down the sugar?  What is the best method to apply the sugar?  Is there better times of the year than others?

I live in Irving.
You can apply sugar anytime.
I do it in early spring and fall, and when wwe have a long time at 100+ in the summer, I apply it again.
If you use any chemicals, it will cancel out any organics you use.
You can do the organics at anytime, but if you use any chemical lawn care products, you will cancel out your organics.
I broadcast the sugar by hand, then water it in well.
About 4 to 5 pounds per 1000 sq.ft.
