hello charlotte do you know how to get rid of earwigs in the house?

Hi Natalie;
Whan I was using chemical pesticides, I had earwigs too, and silverfish.
I use fresh rosemary to keep roaches out of the house, and I also use cedar oil . I put a piece of fresh rosemary on each shelf, cabinet etc, and over the house, under appliances and furniture. Anyplace roaches can come in or hide.
I paint a thin line of cedar oil across the clothes poles in the closets and along the baseboards.
I never see roaches in the house, and don't get clothes eaten by moths, somewhere in all this, and the earwigs, silverfish, and spiders went away.
I don't know if it is the rosemary or the cedar.
I also put a line of cedar bark mulch around the foundation of the house about 3 or 4 inches wide and a couple of inches deep, to keep termites away from my house. that may contribute to keepint out the silverfish and earwigs.
It could be too being on an organic program in lawn care.
I have tons of lizards, toads etc, and they may be eating the earwigs so none are alive to come in the house.
